Types of Teeth 

Fast cut teeth

This is a refinement of the Fleam tooth, in addition to the two ground edges on each tooth, a third angle is ground across the top of the tooth.

This takes away the hard to start problem mentioned earlier and allows the saw to outperform in three areas:

Double Ground Tooth

Triple Ground Tooth

  • Speed - Due to a very narrow kerf the the saw cuts very quickly

  • Direction - Fast cut teeth cut on both the push and pull stroke.

  • Grain - Fast cut teeth can be used both with and against the grain.
