Cable rods have developed from traditional draw tapes and are quickly becoming an essential part of an electrician's kit. They are more rigid than draw tapes and so are useful when running cable under a raised floor or over a suspended ceiling, saving time and money by removing the need to take up flooring or damaging walls and ceilings. 

Rods are available in different diameters, providing varying degrees of flexibility, and can be used with accessories such as hooks, magnets, and rings to complete a wide range of jobs.

Cable rods don't just pull single cables so they need to be strong and pull substantial weights. This means that the connectors need to stay connected - not just at the end but at each point where another rod is connected, otherwise there is a risk of losing rods or the cable being pulled. Because of this, C.K cable rods feature triple bonded steel connectors which have been glued, indented and crimped, resulting in a tensile strength in excess of 275kg! Their ultra-thin profile to prevent snagging and to fit through narrow holes.

The Might Rod PRO range features three kits with various rods and accessories. Spare rods and accessories can be purchased separately so that our kit can be customised for your needs.
