C.K PLCC extractor
A Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier (PLCC) is a four-sided plastic integrated circuit package with pin spacings of 0.05" (1.27 mm).
More commonly they are known as computer chips and occasionally they need to be taken out for replacement or upgrade. Prising them out with a screwdriver is not a good idea since there is a distinct possibility of damaging the pins and the mount.
The C.K PLCC extractor (which is ESD compliant) grips the edge of the chip and when squeezed, effortlessly extracts the chip from its mount without damaging the pins.
